Currently Accepting Applications Deadline to Apply: End of August Dates: 2018 Fall Semester Location: Milwaukee, WI Commitment: 15-20 Hours Per Week Salary: Unpaid - School Credit Available Description of Organization: Lammi Sports Management is an American marketing and management firm that focuses on athlete endorsement, representation, sports personality appearances, sports publishing and media production and syndication. We were founded in 2001 with the intent of providing all of our clients with idea generation and implementation direct from our Senior Management and leading teammates. Today the goal is the same. All of our projects are led or closely monitored by our hands-on management team. Our firm produces sports related TV and radio shows in three time zones. We also schedule celebrity and athlete appearances and handle marketing efforts for top coaches, athletes, entertainers and broadcasters nationwide. Description of Open Internships: Sales Intern Sales interns will go through sales training with our senior salesmen to learn the basics of working with clients and finding what they want, creating solutions and ensuring a smooth process with top notch execution. Day-to-day tasks will focus on researching sales leads, cold calling, coordinating sales efforts with sales team members and executing final sales. Marketing Intern Marketing interns will work directly with our graphic designer on creating proposals, social media graphics, logos for events and website development. They will manage various social media accounts with moderate supervision. They will come up with strategies to market Lammi Sports as a company and market our exclusive clients. Administrative Intern The administrative intern will work directly with the executive assistant and help manage the day to day tasks around the office; filing contracts and paperwork, booking travel for clients, managing credit card charges, monitoring inventory, detailed reports on our media properties, keeping everything organized and assisting wherever needed. Creative Writing Intern The creative writing intern will work off-site each week, checking in at the office once a month. They will write and post articles to the Lammi Sports and Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame “press rooms” on the websites, write and create content for the insidethehuddle.tv Packers website, and assist our Public Relations Specialist with creating press releases and media alerts.
