Description:

redcard currently feeds 23 athletic departments and that number is growing. The process for feeding the athletes is that a meal is scheduled through their system by the athletic department and athletes have access to the app to make their purchases. A picture of the POS receipt is captured by the merchant and is sent to their dashboard. They have a group of student auditors who go through all 15,000+ receipts per week to ensure that all NCAA compliance rules were met. 

They are looking for someone to be in charge of the auditors, review receipts, and help with miscellaneous issues that come up with any school.  Their current list is as follows: Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, Iowa, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon State, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Charlotte, USC, Texas- San Antonio, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Western Michigan, Maryland, Georgia, South Carolina, Western Kentucky, and Wisconsin.

For interested candidates, trust is at the top of the list of importance. The intern will see what all of these athletes eat and get an insight into their behaviors. This information can not be shared or talked about. More responsibilities can come with proving attention to detail, desire to learn, and idea generation for improving the program. redcard wants this person to learn from the experience so they are open to letting them sit in on calls with athletic directors, travel to the various schools when required, or go to the conferences we attend, College and Professional Sports Dietitian Association, Director of Football Operations, Athletic Director conferences for Compliance and business directors. 

They will pay $15 per hour, their office is on State Street. You must be in the office several times per week, much of the work can be done remotely. Some weeks they will have 5-10 hours of work, but it could reach as much as 20. There is a lot of flexibility as to when these hours are worked. They will permanently need this position so the ideal candidate will be here 1-2 years. This could turn into a job upon graduation.
