As part of their partnership at Wisconsin Athletics, Legends is hiring for a few positions on campus. Graduating members of the club are encouraged to apply. The descriptions and details of these positions are below:

Account Executive - Ticket Sales

The Account Executive, Ticket Sales is primarily responsible for driving revenue and hitting sales goals around the season, group, and premium ticket packages for Wisconsin Athletics. This person should be a self- motivated and positive professional. The Account Executive, Sales will work under the direction and guidance of the Manager of Ticket Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for offering a full menu of seating opportunities for Wisconsin Football, Men’s Basketball, and Men’s Hockey ticket packages.
Coordinate and execute sales calls on all potential customers through provide leads, prospecting, cold callings, and referrals from current customers.
Effectively use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate records of all client and prospect interactions.
Participate and contribute in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
Work in conjunction with Wisconsin Athletic Department and Ticketing staff to promote and generate sales on all events while providing a great fan experience.
Assist with any administrative ticket functions.
Assist with any special projects or duties as assigned by Ticket Sales Manager.
Setting and conducting in arena and out of the office appointments.
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events and game days.
The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of activity (calls made/appointments set) and goals.

Marketing and Sales Coordinator

The Marketing and Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the creation and distribution of digital and email marketing campaigns, while helping identify and capture engaging content across all 23 Wisconsin Athletics Varsity sports and 800+ student athletes. The Marketing and Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the creation of all sales and marketing materials associated with Wisconsin Athletics ticketing and fundraising opportunities. The Marketing and Sales Coordinator should be a professional, team focused, positive individual. The Marketing and Sales Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Manager, Strategic Development and General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the creation, execution, and distribution of digital content and graphics working in conjunction with Wisconsin Athletics Marketing.
Assist in the creation, execution, and distribution of all sales and marketing materials for Wisconsin Athletics ticket offerings, donation solicitations, events, communications, and experiences.
Work with other areas within Wisconsin Athletics to seek out compelling stories and content to share with Wisconsin Athletics supporters.
Generate prospect lists and manage in Sales Force and Excel spreadsheets.
Greet guests and prospective clients at events and on-campus appointments.
Researches and makes team aware of community initiatives that could tie into marketing efforts.
Track and communicate daily, weekly and monthly success and impact of marketing campaigns.
Maintain scheduling of Sales Center and other meeting areas.
Assist the Sales team in the execution of the sales process, including but not limited to the creation and execution of all sales materials, contracts, scheduling, commissions and bonuses.
Perform additional office management duties including but not limited to budgets, invoicing, expense tracking, billing, supplies, and any other duties as directed by the General Manager.
Track and communicate daily, weekly and monthly sales numbers, inventory, projections, goals and contests.

Description:

Objective:
The Sports Intern will be a part of the Madison Area Sports Commission team, assisting with our events and everyday business. This multi-faceted position will work with various areas of our business, including sales, marketing, social media, digital and event support.

Overview of Responsibilities:

Online events calendar support for madisonsports.org
Support CrossFit Games campaign (marketing + welcome)
Sports Sales support including research and event history calls
Facility inventory updates
Vendor database build out and updates
Onsite event presence and support as needed
Social media and photography support
Marketing collateral work, including facility profiles, website content, etc.
Support of IronKids Fun Run, including outreach and promotion
Youth Grant application collection, organization and documentation
Working with our services department on tracking of client gifts and other incentives, as well as collecting post-event feedback from clients
Assistance with organization of site visits, logistics, and itineraries
Other duties as assigned
