Location: Madison, WI (On-campus)
Commitment: Part-time (10-20 Hrs/week)
Salary: $9.00/hr to $12.00/hr depending on qualifications

Description:

POSITION SUMMARY/JOB DUTIES:

• Oversight of the Area Red Student Fan Board
  • Coordinate 6-10 member executive student board
    • Lead board through charge of student engagement through social and philanthropic events, recruitment, social media, and in-game operation
    • Coordinate bi-weekly meetings
  • Regular meetings/communication with Athletic Marketing student interns on respective sport initiatives
  • Define and execute components of Area Red student membership
  • Host quarterly large group meetings/events
    • Coordinate Welcome Week student fan event
  • Serve as the liaison between Wisconsin Athletics and student fans
  • Recruitment and brand ambassador at SOAR
  • Develop relationships with key campus organizations and events
• Tell the story of Area Red through digital assets
  • Capture experiences and tell the story through photography, video, social media and written content
    • Use the platform of Wisconsin Athletics and coordinate with internal units to help tell the story and excite the student fan brand of Wisconsin Athletics
  • Create digital media and marketing materials to be published on social media and website
  • Develop social media strategy and campaigns across a variety of platforms
  • Manage the Area Red social media accounts and website; develop content to engage users
  • Keep on top of trends and developments that can help market our brand
  • Source and curate content that aligns with the brand voice
  • Monitor news to provide timely and relevant posts
