Terry Galik
UW-Athletics Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sports Administration & Senior Women's Administrator

• Terry Gawlik brings an extensive and broad background in athletics administration and coaching. She currently oversees all aspects of the Badger softball, volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s and women’s rowing programs, and at one time supervised as many as 13 sports programs. Gawlik directs coaches’ meetings and leads sport administrator meetings as part of the Athletics Department’s commitment to ensure the current and future success of its sports programs and to provide a championship experience for student-athletes (via uwbadgers.com). 

Kayla Gross
Special Projects Manager, Wei LAB at Wisconsin Center for Education Research and UW-Madison School of Education Graduate Student

• With an extensive background in community relations in recent years, Kayla has lead the charge in directing the UW Athletics Badgers Give Back program and the Oregon State Beyond Football program from foundation to formation. She now currently resides back in Madison as a graduate student at the UW-Madison School of Education. Kayla is also now a faculty advisor for the club.

DeLaina Sarden
UW-Athletics Career and Leadership Coordinator

• A former student athlete at the University of Central Florida, Delaina’s work has always revolved around the craft of student-athlete development. Beginning at UCF, DeLaina was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Student-Athlete Leadership Institute. From UCF, DeLaina attended Michigan State University and became a graduate assistant working with the institution’s Student-Athlete Support Services and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Student-Athlete Development in 2017. She is now the career and leadership coordinator for UW-Athletics, where her main responsibilities include providing career counseling and professional development for the Softball, Wrestling, Volleyball, and Men and Women’s Soccer, and Tennis teams.

Kat Vosters
UW-Athletics Director of Student-Athlete Recruitment

• A Madison area native and UW-Madison graduate, Kat began her UW Athletics career early on as a four-year manager with the men's basketball program, handling the responsibilities of a lead manager during her junior and senior years. She then served as a program assistant during the 2013-14 season. Soon after, she would serve as the team's director of basketball operations for the three seasons thereafter. Now, in her current role as the director of student-athlete recruitment, Kat is working with various departments at UW to help the coaching staffs attract and engage prospective student-athletes.​

Favorite Memory or Part About your Job?

Terry 
Terry said impacting student athletes

Kayla 
Kayla commented that she enjoys that her work is community and student oriented. Also, the fact that what she is doing everyday is making an impact, as well as being able to build relationships with a lot of different kids and thus establish lifelong relationships with those kids. 

DeLaina
DeLaina really likes that she gets to see the potential of other people, that refusal to give up on someone. One example she mentioned was her relationship with Michigan State football player Khari Willis, who was a keynote speaker at the Big Ten football media days this year. 

Kat
Kat said she values team achievements. She spoke upon the fact that coaches give a lot up for those moments and to be with someone elses kids and so to see that moment of elation and everybody coming together as a team is special. She specifically mentioned the 2014 men's basketball final four run.
